“Proper on the surface and debauched underneath"
These are the words that Mark Badgley and James Mischka used to describe their s/s 2011 collection.
The two designers never cease to amaze. The seductive, feminine pieces walked the runway with nothing less than haute couture.
The two designers never cease to amaze. The seductive, feminine pieces walked the runway with nothing less than haute couture.
BM used natural details to embellish pieces such as petal-like appliqués, metallics, subtle beading and macramè. The duo also used lace, sheer fabrics, and ruffles to enhance the flirtacious pieces.
The flirty make-up, which included pops of pink on the cheeks and peach toned lips, blended well with the high-volume, defined curls that adorned the models.
While some pieces were accessorized, others were left bare using just the designs as the focal point.

With the seductive yet sophisticated pieces and playful hair and make-up, this season's designs were stunning.
